Senior Stephanie Shulman and assistant coach Kevin Ye were once again recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Wednesday afternoon taking home the national awards for Most Improved Senior and Assistant Coach of the Year.

In her final season at Emory, Shulman became a leader amongst singles competitors taking 16 wins to finish second on the team. She earned a spot in the NCAA Individual Championships this season but had to withdraw in the Round of 32 due to injury. This season, she also held a 4-2 record in doubles but turned her focus to the No. 1 spot in singles. In her three playing seasons with the Eagles, Shulman holds a 38-23 all-time record in singles competition.

Ye helped lead the Eagles to the NCAA semifinals after finishing the regular season with a 14-7 record. Under his leadership, the doubles tandem of Ana Cristina Perez and Emily Kantrovitz advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Individual Championships.
