Emory University's Alix Dyer turned in a strong performance during the Eagles' season-opening meet, the Roaring Tiger Opener.  While competing against mostly Division I runners in the 60-meter dash, Dyer finished 15^th with a career-best time of 7.91 seconds, just six-hundredths of a second shy of a provisional qualifying mark.  Later in the meet, the all-American sophomore the first leg of the Eagles' 4x400-meter relay team, helping the squad to a fourth-place finish with a time of 4:02.36.
