Three Eagles Selected to Participate at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships

Three members of the Emory University women's track and field team qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, to be held at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, from March 12th - 13th.

Emory senior Brittany Donino qualified for the 55-meter hurdles with a mark of 8.31 seconds, tying her for the eighth-best mark among Division III women this season.  Sophomore Lauren Attiah qualified in the triple jump, with a season-best mark of 11.65 meters, the 11th-best Division III distance in the event in 2010.  Rounding out Emory's qualifiers is freshman Theresa Ford, whose height of 1.68 meters in the high jump was the 10th best in Division III this year.

This is the second indoor national appearance for Attiah, and the first time for both Donino and Ford.

The women's high jump is slated for a 4:00 start on Friday, while the preliminaries of the 55-meter hurdles will be held at 4:50 PM on Friday.  Should Donino advance, she will compete in the 55-meter hurdle finals on Saturday at 2:35 PM, while Attiah will compete in the triple jump on Saturday at 3:00 PM.
