Emory University senior Lauren Attiah recorded season-best marks by an Eagle in two jump events at Saturday’s Bob Pollock Invitational. Attiah’s long jump of 5.71 meters ranks as the second-best in school history and 12th-best among Division III athletes this season, as she finished sixth in the event. She finished sixth in the high jump as well, matching the season-best mark by an Eagle and setting a personal-best mark by clearing a height of 1.65 meters. Attiah also set a career-best time in the 400-meter dash, finishing 12th with a time of 57.92 seconds, and finished fourth as the third-leg of Emory’s 4x100-meter relay team (47.65 seconds).
