Emory University freshman Stephanie Crane was part of a pair of school record-breaking efforts during the Emory Invitational last weekend. Crane broke the Emory record in the 1,500-meter run, finishing third in the event with a time of 4:40.99. The time ranks as the sixth-fastest among Division III athletes this season. Crane also ran the second leg of the Eagles’ 4x800-meter relay team, which broke the school record with a time of 9:21.20. In the event, Crane ran an unofficial split of 2:16.4 for her leg of the relay. She totaled 8.5 points for Emory during the meet, helping the Eagles to a first-place finish at the meet.
