Emory University junior Kaele Leonard broke the school record in the 400-meter dash at the Bob Pollock Invitational last Saturday. Leonard ran a time of 56.54 seconds, breaking the previous school record of 56.75 seconds, set by Alix Dyer in 2010. The time was good for a ninth-place finish at the meet and ranks as the 14th-best mark among Division III athletes this season.
