Emory Places Six On USTFCCCA D-III Women's All-Academic Team

Emory University saw six members of its women's track and field program recognized for their accomplishments both athletically and in the classroom with their inclusion to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association 2012 Division III All-Academic Team.

Eagles who earned berths on the All-Academic Team included:

Debora Adjibaba (Fr., Chambersburg, PA)
Charlotte Diggs (Sr., Vienna, VA)
Theresa Ford (Jr., Minneapolis, MN)
Tess Gallegos (Sr., Kennesaw, GA)
Kaele Leonard (Jr., Elmhurst, IL)
Morgan Monroe (So., Bridgewater, NJ)

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met either of the following athletic standards: a student-athlete must have competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or finished the regular season ranked in the national top 35 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 25 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.

A total of 340 student-athletes representing 107 institutions were represented on this year's team.
