Prior to Emory:

Competed on the York High School track and field team for four outdoor seasons and two indoor seasons... Served as the team's co-captain during her senior year... Set the Maine Class B Indoor Long Jump record with a mark of 5.35 meters in 2011, and in the outdoor 4x100-meter relay with a time of 49.4 seconds... Finished third in the 4x100-meter relay at the 2008 New England meet... State Champion in the outdoor 4x100-meter relay, 200-meter dash and long jump in 2011... Won her team's indoor Most Valuable Player award in 2011, and the outdoor MVP award in 2010 and 2011... Recorded career-best marks of 12.4 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 25.65 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 10.36 meters in the triple jump... Coached by Ted Hutch and Kevin Wyatt... Also played soccer in high school.
