Competed on the Eastside Preparatory School track and field team for two seasons, serving as the team captain during her junior and senior years... Was a league all-star and Most Valuable Player in 2011... Recorded career-best times of 13.15 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 27.15 seconds in the 200-meter dash, and 61.46 seconds in the 400-meter dash, and cleared a career-best height of 2.59 meters in the pole vault... Coached by Theron Cross... Also played volleyball and competed in gymnastics in high school.
