Emory University senior Stephanie Crane turned in a pair of solid performances at the Buccaneer Invitational, hosted by East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.  Crane recorded the fastest time in the mile run this season by an Eagle, finishing third in the seeded section of the event with a mark of 5:09.33.  The time was a near nine-second improvement on her previous season-best, and was the sixth-fastest in the University Athletic Association this year.  Crane also finished eighth in the seeded 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.35, also her fastest time of the year in the event and the 11^th-best in the UAA.
