Emory University senior Elaina Kim won the non-Division I section of the pole vault at the Eagles’ season-opening Panther Indoor Icebreaker in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday.  Kim cleared the bar at a height of 3.20 meters, tied for the 20^th-best mark in Division III this season, to win the event.  She scored 10 points towards the Eagles’ team total, helping the Emory women finish first among 22 teams competing at the meet.
