The Emory University Women's Track and Field team came in second among the competing teams at this past weekend's Emory Classic, scoring 96 points over the two-day meet.

Senior Dani Bland and junior Isabel Saridakis earned event wins for the Eagles with Bland posting an 11.90 finals time (11.86 in prelims) to win the 100m Dash and in the pole vault, Saridakis matched her school record height of 3.75m which she set just last week at the Emory Invitational.

Bland added an event win as part of the 4x400m Relay, teaming with senior Dilys Osei, sophomore Michelle Rosenblum and freshman Hannah Lansberry to run a sub-4:00 minute time at 3:58.87.

In addition to the three event wins, the Eagles recorded four runner-up marks with senior Paris Wagner in the hammer throw (48.50m), sophomore Taylor Robinson in the javelin (38.45m), junior Nyla Lindo in the long jump (5.58m) and the 4x100m Relay of Bland, Osei, Rosenblum and sophomore Rebekah Bondi.
