Emory University women's track & field phenom Annika Urban added to her legacy Friday night while competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California.

Urban, competing in the 5000m Run for the first time this outdoor season, lowered her personal-best and previous school record time by 44 seconds to win her heat that was full of Division I and II competitors. Urban's time of 16:06.95 is the fastest at the Division III ranks this season by over 20 seconds and moves her to third all-time individually in Division III history.

Urban's teammates look to continue their strong weekend at Berry on Saturday while Urban will turn her attention to next week's UAA Championships in Chicago.
