Graduate Nikki Boon made a strong showing in her first meet as an Eagle. She saw her first top-ten finish with the Eagles and led the way for the women posting a distance of 12.00m in the shot put placing her 29th in the country and third in the UAA. She also competed on the other side of the meet qualifying for the semi-final heat in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.93, a time good for third in the country and first in the UAA.
