Favorite Television Show: It's a rare event that I stay awake through an entire episode, but Grey's Anatomy always keeps me awake

A word to describe me on the court: Bouncy

A word to describe me away from the court: Depends on the day - today it's compassionate

My most memorable athletic moment was: Beating our rival school during high school season for the first time in my four years on the team

Academic Awards that you are most proud of: Community Service Award for my high school

Why I chose Emory? It was the only place where people were genuinely convinced that Emory was the greatest place to ever exist.  It is strong academically and the volleyball team is competitive too.  It's diverse and different and I love the family aspect of the volleyball team.  Everything about it was just perfect!

Favorite pro athlete:   Not a huge fan of pro sports...

The sports teams I followed when I was younger: The local rec swim teams - it was my life!

My athletic goals as an Emory Volleyball player:  Discover and develop my potential, become more dynamic, smarter, and stronger on the court, work harder than I ever have before, play for the team and have a blast

The people who have helped me most to this point of my life: My parents, several of my teachers, mentors at church

Any pre-match rituals:  Sleeping with a volleyball under the covers the night before big matches and of course listen to some reggaeton

The sport I would be playing if I were not playing volleyball: Cross country

If I could have dinner with only three people in history, they would be: Jesus, Ghandi, Cesar Chavez

Ten years from now I see myself: As a doctor in a third world country surrounded by kids

The best advice I have ever been given and who gave it to you: "Don't feel guilty about wealth, do something with it" -my freshman year English teacher

What is something that very few, if any, people know about you: I really want to have ethnic children!  Also, I used to think I was Snow White...
