Sophomore Amelia McCall helped the Eagles'
volleyball team to a 3-1 mark last weekend at the UAA Round Robin
II. McCall played in all 13 of the team's sets and averaged
2.08 kills per game in helping raise the squad's mark to 24-5 on
the year.
McCall was second high on the club in kills in each of the first
three matches at the Round Robin II and totaled nine terminations
in a 3-1 triumph over the University of Rochester. In a 3-0
decision against Brandeis, Amelia knocked down eight kills and
finished with a 41.2 hitting percentage (8-1--17).
Emory, ranked No. 4 in the nation, returns to action on Oct. 22
when it hosts Lee University and USC-Aiken.
