Senior Amelia McCall keyed the Eagles to three big wins over the weekend, two of which came against teams ranked among the top five,  at the Juniata Invitational, helping the squad raise its overall slate to 23-4.  McCall played in all 10 of the team’s sets and averaged a team-high tying 3.5 kills per set and recorded a fine 34.1 hitting percentage.  In addition, she doled out a team-high tying six service aces and averaged 3.60 digs per set, good for the No. 2 spot on the club.  In a 3-1 triumph over No. 1-ranked Juniata, McCall finished with 10 kills, a team-high 19 digs and two aces.  Her effort in the digs department helped limit Juniata to just a 22.0 hitting percentage, well under its season average.  She opened Saturday’s play with a match-high tying 14 kills and registered a 44.8 attack percentage (14-1—29), while totaling 12 digs, her 12^th double-double of the campaign, in a 3-1 victory over No. 5-ranked Eastern University. Finally, in the No. 4 Eagles final contest on the weekend, a 3-0 win over Williams, McCall hit a blazing 60.0 percent (11-2—15) and contributed three aces and five digs.  She has posted double figures in kills in her last 15 outings.
