Played in five sets over five matches ... Recorded a pair of kills against Finlandia (Sept. 25) in a 3-0 win ... Picked up a kill and a dig vs. Texas Lutheran (Sept. 11).

Prior To Emory: Was a four-year member of the Lawrence High School volleyball program where she played for coach Stephanie Magnuson … Served as her team’s co-captain her senior season … All-Sunflower League Second Team selection in 2008 and 2009 … Helped her squad to a fifth-place finish in the state tournament in 2009 … Registered 151 kills and 71 blocks her final year of competition … Played club volleyball for Lawrence MAVS 18-1 under the guidance of Chrissy Leuty.

Personal: Born December 14, 1991 … Daughter of Primoz and Joy Klemencic … Member of the National Honor Society (2008-10) … Had artwork published in the Aerie International Magazine in 2008 and 2010 …  Third place in the 2009 State History Day Competition.
