Senior outside Amelia McCall helped No.3-ranked
Emory to a 4-0 record at the UAA Round Robin II. Playing in
11 of the team’s 14 sets, the 5-10 McCall topped the squad
with a 4.00 kills-per-set average while registering a .402 attack
percentage (44-7—92). In addition, she ranked second on
the club with a 2.91 digs-per-set effort as the Eagles’
boosted their overall record to 28-2 (7-0 UAA). She led Emory
in terminations in all three of the matches she played in,
including a 19-kills performance in a 3-2 victory over No. 2
Washington University, a match where she hit .348 (19-3—46)
while also contributing 10 digs, her 13th double-double
of the year. In the opening contests against NYU and Carnegie
Mellon, she chalked up double-doubles while leading all players
with 13 and 12 kills, respectively, while posting a .579 attack
percentage (12-1—19) against the Tartans.
