Emory Volleyball Takes On Richard Stockton In Opening Round Of The NCAA D-III Championships

The Emory volleyball team will head to Newport News Va., this weekend (Nov. 11-13) when it opens  NCAA D-III Championships play.  The Eagles' (34-4 overall) first-round opponent on Friday will be Richard Stockton of the New Jersey Athletic Conference.  The Ospreys head into the tourney the owners of a 25-8 record. 

The winner of the Emory vs. Richard Stockton match advances to Saturday's regional semifinals to play either Randolph-Macon or Johns Hopkins. 

Other first-round match-ups include Christopher Newport (33-4) vs. Maryville (26-7) and Salisbury (31-3) vs. Gallaudet (28-7).

Serving as the host of the Regional will be Christopher Newport University.  All matches will be contested at the Freeman Center on the CNU campus.  Times will be announced later this week.
