Sophomore Kate Bowman helped Emory to a 3-1 record at the talent-laden Trinity Invitational. The 5-9 Bowman played all 20 of the team's sets and paced the Eagles in kills (2.90 kps) while ranking second in digs (4.00 dps) in helping raise the team's record to 11-2.

Bowman totaled four double-doubles (kills/digs) on the weekend and led or tied for the team's lead in terminations in three matches. She tied for the team high with 12 kills and recorded 23 digs in a 3-2 triumph over No. 4 Christopher Newport and followed that with a team-leading 15-kill, 24-digs effort against Southwestern.  In the Invitational finale against host Trinity, Bowman blasted away for a team-high 17 terminations while chipping in 18 digs and a squad-high tying four blocks.

Bowman has eight consecutive matches and nine overall this year of 10 or more kills.
