Junior Cat McGrath helped the Emory volleyball team to a 4-0 record at the Randolph-Macon Invitational.

The 6-foot-2 McGrath played in 14 of the team's 16 sets and hit a squad-leading .438 (40-8--73) while ranking second with a 2.86 kills-per-set average. In addition, she averaged a team-best 0.64 blocks per set as the Eagles upped their overall record to 7-0.

On the first day of action, she played in five of the team's seven sets in matches against Hardin-Simmons and Averett, and hit .550 on the strength of 11 kills with just one error in 20 swings. On the final day, she was second on the club with 16 terminations, her second-highest career effort, and compiled a hitting mark of .344 (16-5--32) along with one block solo in a 3-1 decision over Trinity. In the final match vs. RMC, she tied for match honors with 12 kills, hit .476 (12-2--21) and chalked up six block assists in a 3-2 triumph over the Yellow Jackets.
