Junior Sarah Maher helped Emory to a 3-0 record at the UAA Volleyball Round Robin I.

Maher played in all nine sets and ranked second on the squad in kills average (3.33 kps) and digs (2.78 dps), and was third in hitting percentage (.409, 30-3--66) as the Eagles boosted their overall record to 20-2.

Maher recorded double-figure kills in two matches -- 12 against Case Western in the UAA opener (13 digs) and a team-high tying 10 against Brandeis, a contest that saw her end with a season-high .588 attack percentage (10-0--17).  In the weekend finale, a 3-0 triumph vs. No. 21 Carnegie Mellon, the 6-foot-1 Maher was second on the team with eight terminations and added five digs and two block assists.

On the year, Maher has averaged 2.91 kills per set, good for the No. 2 spot on the team's scoresheet, and is also No. 2 in digs (2.91 dps).
