Junior Kathryn Trinka helped the No. 4-ranked Emory volleyball team to three victories on the campus of Washington and Lee. Trinka averaged a team-high 3.67 kills over 12 sets of action, and finished off the weekend hitting .367 (44-8--98) in aiding the squad raise its record to 15-2.

Trinka paced the team in terminations in two of three contests, including a career-high 20 kills in a 3-2 decision over No. 2 Christopher Newport. Trinka, who hit .391 (20-2--46) against the Captains, also contributed three digs and a pair of block assists.  Trinka followed that effort with a match-high tying 14 kills, while registering a solid .429 attack percentage (14-2--28), in a 3-1 triumph against Washington and Lee.  

On the season, Trinka has played in all 61 of the team's sets and has produced 14 matches with double figures in kills.  Her 3.72 kills per set mark leads the team and is second among University Athletic Association players.
