Senior setter Mady Arles turned in an all-around effort for the Eagles' volleyball team at the East-West Challenge held on the campus of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Arles averaged 9.92 assists, 2.15 digs and 1.15 blocks (second on the team) while seeing action in all 13 sets over the three matches.

In a 3-1 triumph over UT-Dallas, Arles doled out a career-high 48 assists and chipped in a pair of service aces and nine digs. In the opening contest of the Challenge, a five-set battle vs. No. 13 Juniata, she totaled 44 assists and  a career-high 10 (1-9) blocks.

So far this season, Mady is No. 2 among UAA players in assists average (10.25 aps).
