Junior Leah Saunders earned a berth on East-To-West Challenge All-Tournament Team with her all-around efforts helping Emory volleyball to a pair of wins in three outings.

Seeing action in all nine of the squad's sets, the 5-foot-8 Saunders averaged 2.44 kills and 2.22 digs per game. She hit .241 (22-8--58) over the weekend and dished out three service aces.

Saunders opened the Challenge tying for the team lead with eight terminations while hitting .368 (8-1--19) against No. 3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. She followed that performance by ringing up seven kills and ranking second on the Eagles' scoresheet with seven digs in a 3-0 triumph over No. 6 Juniata. In the weekend finale, Leah finished with seven successful attack attempts and chipped in 11 digs and a pair of block assists in a sweep of Cal Lutheran.

So far this year, Saunders has seen action in 30 of 31 sets and is averaging 2.81 kills, good for eighth place among UAA players, and 2.61 digs per game.
