Freshman middle Madison Cail helped the No. 6-ranked Emory volleyball team to a win over crosstown foe Oglethorpe University on Sept. 22.

The 6-foot Cail tied for match honors with 10 kills, hitting .692 (10-1--13), in the Eagles' 25-19, 25-16, 26-24, decision over the Stormy Petrels that raised their record to 11-2. Her play at the net, which included a match-high tying five (0-5) blocks, helped limit Oglethorpe to a .056 hitting percentage.

So far this year, Madison has played in 43 of the team's 48 sets and tops the squad in hitting percentage (.330, 78-20--176) while her squad-leading 0.91 blocks per game is fourth among University Athletic Association players.
