Lauren LaRocque joined the Emory volleyball program in the fall of 2014. Lauren played for four years on the Georgia Southern University Volleyball team. Lauren helped the program to two Southern Conference tournament championships and two first round appearances in the NCAA tournament. 

Lauren played for Frisco Centennial High School as an outside hitter from 2006-2010 under head coach Kari Bensend.

Additionally, Lauren coached for the Southern Slammers Volleyball Club in Statesboro, GA.

Lauren earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology along with a dual minor in Mathematics and Chemistry. She currently works as a Research Specialist in the School of Medicine within the Renal Division at Emory University.
