Senior (2005):

Burns ran a season-best time of 20:50 at the Auburn Invitational. She finished in the top ten for the Eagles in all six meets she ran in this season. She finished 10th for Emory at the UAA championships.

Junior (2004):

Ran in six races, finishing among Emory's top 10 in all of them. She ran her season best time and had her best finish at the Georgia State University Invitational. Ran the 5,000-meter course at the Invitational in 20 minutes and 42 seconds, finishing 24th out of 94 runners.

Sophomore (2003):

Ran in six meets with highest finish being 45th at Georgia Collegiate Championships. Recorded career-best time of 21 minutes and four seconds at Southeastern Classic Oct. 25.

Freshman (2002):

Attended New York University.
