Senior Rebecca Flink paced the Emory women's cross country contingent and helped the Eagles to a third-place finish out of 11 teams at the Sewanee Invitational held Sept. 5.
Flink finished sixth overall in the 110-runner field with a 5K
time of 19:22.93. Her performance highlighted three Emory
runners who ranked among the top 15 to cross the finish line.
The Eagles ended the Invitational with 77 points and trailed only
first-place finisher Mississippi State (25 pts.) and runner-up
Georgia State (68 pts.).
Emory returns to action on Sept. 19 when it competes at the UGA
Invitational in Athens.
