Sophomore Hannah Moriarty helped the No. 23-ranked women's cross country team to a solid effort at the Rose-Hulman Pre-Nationals this past weekend in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Moriarty was the squad's No. 1 finisher and 46th overall out of 326 entries, clocking a personal-best time 6K time of 23:27.
It was the first time in her career that she ranked as Emory's No. 1 runner and aided the squad to an eighth-place finish out of 30 teams.
