Sophomore Tamara Surtees paced the Emory women's cross country
team's effort at the University Athletic Association
Championships.
Surtees crossed the finish line in ninth place overall out of 77
runners with a season-best 6K time of 22:40. Her performance
enabled the Chagrin Falls, Ohio, native to earn Second Team All-UAA
honors.
