The Emory University men's and women's cross country teams continue their seasons on Saturday (Sept. 12) when they compete in the 3^rd Annual Furman University Cross Country Classic.  The meet will be held at the Furman University Golf Course with the women’s 6k race starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by the men’s 8k competition at 9:10 a.m. 

A total of 35 men’s teams and 40 women’s squads will be represented at the Classic including Division I members, Auburn, East Tennessee State, Georgia, Clemson, host Furman and Wake Forest. 

This Saturday’s meet will represent the first action for the Emory men and women since Sept. 1 when they both claimed first-place finishes at the Emort-Berry Watermelon Run.  Entering the Classic the Eagle women are ranked 28^th nationally in the Division III ranks while the men hold down the No. 30 slot.
