Eagles to Try for First UAA Victory on Saturday at Chicago

The Emory University men's soccer team will try for its first conference win of the season on Saturday, as the Eagles will travel north to the University of Chicago to face the Maroons at 12:00 PM EST.

Emory is 8-2-0 this season following a 3-1 win at Oglethorpe University on Wednesday.  The Eagles, ranked seventh in the South Atlantic region, are a perfect 7-0-0 on the road this season, and 0-1-0 in conference play.

Chicago will enter the game with a 6-2-2 record this season, including a mark of 0-1-0 in UAA matches.  The Maroons are coming off a 3-0 loss on the road to Carnegie Mellon in their conference opener last Saturday.  Chicago is 2-0-1 at home this season.

The Eagles are 15-5-2 all time against the Maroons, including wins in each of the last two meetings.  Last season, the Eagles came away with a 5-1 win over Chicago at the WoodPEC.  Juniors Michael Scannapieco and Graham Dekeyser each have career goals against Chicago, while Christopher Howie, Phillip Andreae and Zach Samuels each have recorded an assist.
