Two of Deuel's three stops came in the final minute of action as he made a great one-handed diving save before making another close range stop moments later to preserve the 1-0 lead.
Junior Adam Ferguson scored the lone goal for either team in Emory's 1-0 win over Sewanee on Wednesday night to give the Eagles their third straight win. Ferguson one timed a shot from the penalty spot, banking it in off the left post following the pass from classmate junior Jason McCartney in the 15th minute of the contest. The goal was the first of Ferguson's career.
