    Junior Shane Sullivan cut four seconds off his PR in the 5000m Run to improve upon his school record mark in the event. He posted a time of 14:24.23 to finish sixth overall with his mark moving him into 1st among UAA leaders and 13th nationally.

    Junior Charlie Hu shattered his personal-record in the triple jump, posting a mark of 14.29m at UGA's Torrin Lawrence Memorial on Saturday. Hu's new distance ranks as the top mark in the UAA and 29th nationally.

    Junior Robert Wilhelm III led Emory this weekend to a sixth place finish at the Mountain Laurel Invitational at Sewanee University. Wilhelm took home first place honors in the 800m Run, posting a career-best time of 1:57.37. His time moves him to 17th among UAA leaders.

    Junior Benjamin Rogin swept the hurdling events as the Eagles posted a second place team finish at the Berry Field Day Invitational. Rogin clocked a sub-15 seconds time to win the 110m Hurdles, finishing with a time of 14.84, a mark that ranks first in the UAA and 12th nationally. Rogin added a 55.32 to win the 400m event and ran the final leg of Emory's third place 4x100m Relay team (43.57).

    Sophomore Bennett Shaw was third overall in the 3000m Steeplechase at the VertKlasse Meeting on Friday. Shaw's time of 9:38.77 was a season-best mark and currently places him fifth on the UAA leaderboard and 24th nationally.

    Junior Charlie Hu ranks first in the UAA in the triple jump and long jump, fourth in the javelin and fifth in the high jump following his performance at the Emory Classic over the weekend. With his marks, he also moved into the top-20 in Division III in the triple jump (14th) and the top-40 in the long jump (39th). Hu was the leading individual point scorer for Emory over the weekend as the junior led the Blue and Gold in the field events, scoring in four events. Hu turned in a first place finish in the triple jump at 14.02m and added top-eight performances in the javelin (5th, 47.11m), long jump (7th, 6.57m) and high jump (8th, 1.79m).

    Junior Shane Sullivan turned in the best time in Division III so far this season in the 5000m Run, finishing second overall with a time 14:28.05 at the Raleigh Relays competing against Division I runners. His mark broke the Emory school record, a milestone that stood for over 31 years.

    Freshman Jackson Hoit led all Emory field performers in the first outdoor meet of the season as the Eagles placed seventh out of 33 schools at the Emory Invitational. Hoit was fifth in the javelin with a distance of 52.01m. His mark ranks 17th nationally and second in the UAA.

    Junior Benjamin Rogin competed in three events to help Emory to a seventh place finish out of 33 schools at the Emory Invitational to open the outdoor season. Rogin placed fourth in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.00, a mark that puts in 1st in the UAA and 6th nationally. Rogin was the anchor in Emory's seventh place 4x100m relay team which clocked in a time 43.14 which currently stands 1st in the UAA and 18th in the country. Rogin added a 42nd place finish in the 200m Dash in a time of 23.44.

    Junior Max Brown improved upon his one mile time at the Tufts Last Chance National Qualifier on Saturday, turning in his best performance of the season at 4:12.85 to take third in the event. With his time, Brown moved up to 14th nationally and first among UAA leaders.

    Junior Benjamin Rogin took first in the 55m Hurdles to lead Emory at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational on Friday afternoon. Rogin posted a PR of 7.85 in the finals to take home the top spot. His time ranks second in the UAA and 49th nationally. Rogin added a seventh place finish in the 55m Dash with a time of 6.87.

    Sophomore Zachary Lembersky eclipsed his previous top distance in the weight throw at the Tiger Indoor Invitational on Saturday, registering a mark of 14.39m to finish second in the event. His mark is seventh-best ever recorded in school history. His mark currently ranks fifth among UAA leaders in the event.

    Junior Shane Sullivan broke the broke the school record in the 3000m Run to lead the Emory University Men's Track and Field team in action this past weekend at the Samford Open. Sullivan clocked in with a time of 8:22.85, besting his previous school record by nearly 12 seconds (8.34.57). His time currently leads all UAA performers in the event and ranks 15th nationally.

    Freshman Michael Battat led the Eagles in field events at the Buccaneer Invitational this past weekend at East Tennessee State University. Battat posted a PR in the long jump with a mark of 6.50m, finishing 16th overall in the event. With his mark, Battat currently ranks 4th among UAA leaders.

    Junior Max Brown paced all Emory performers at the Buccaneer Invitational this past weekend at East Tennessee State University. Brown turned an Emory season-best time of 1:54.37 in the 800m Run, taking fourth overall in the event (top DIII finisher). With his time, Brown climbed to third among the UAA leaders and 19th nationally in the event. Brown added a third-place finish, first among DIII schools, as part of the Distance Medley Relay. The DMR's time of 10:26.84 currently stands first in the UAA and 16th in the country.

    Junior Charlie Hu led the Eagles in the field events at the KMS Invitational on Sunday afternoon. Hu placed 12th overall in the triple jump (13.39m) and 19th in the long jump (6.32m). His marks were both season-highs and represented the third-best (TJ) and the fifth-best (LJ) among UAA leaders so far this season.

    Senior Kyle Veator posted a season-best time in the 200m Dash (22.94) and added a 7.23 mark in the 60m Dash to lead the Eagles at the KMS Invitational on Sunday. Veator also recorded a distance of 6.23m in the long jump. His time in the 200m moved him to seventh among UAA ranks.

    January 23, 2017
    Junior Max Brown led the Eagles at the Emory Crossplex Invitational on Sunday with a pair of top-8 finishes, the lone Eagle to accomplish that feat. Brown finished fourth in the mile run at 4:19.22 and was eighth in the 800m Run at 1:58.27. He currently stands 2nd in the mile and 8th in the 800m among UAA leaders. In addition, Brown sits 27th nationally in the mile run.

    Sophomore Zachary Lembersky posted the fifth-best mark by an individual in Emory school history in the weight throw on Sunday at the Crossplex Invitational. He finished seventh in the event with a distance of 14.30m. His mark currently ranks third among UAA leaders.

    Junior Shane Sullivan led all Emory men's track performers at the ETSU Invitational over the weekend, registering a time of 15:00.36. Sullivan finished second in the event out 47 runners including several Division I competitors. His time in the event ranks first in the UAA and seventh nationally.

    Sophomore Zachary Lembersky recorded a personal best in the weight throw at the BSC Indoor Icebreaker on Friday. He finished eighth in the event with a mark of 13.97 and currently ranks 44th in the nation.

    Junior Benjamin Rogin took second place in the 60m Hurdles on Friday at the BSC Indoor Icebreaker. His time of 8.47 was the eighth best mark in school history and currently ranks 10th nationally in the event.
