Satterfield, the fourth-seeded player in the singles draw, defeated unseeded Cristina Nunez of Ithaca in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1, to advance to the semifinal round.  The freshman will face top-seeded Megan Tang of Chicago in the semifinal match on Friday at 8:00 AM, after Tang defeated unseeded Megan Humphreys of UW-Whitewater, 6-1, 6-0.

Also in singles action, facing third-seeded Sofia Vega of Texas Lutheran University, unseeded freshman and at-large entry Melissa Goodman suffered a 7-6 (3), 6-2 defeat in the quarterfinals.  Goodman will move to the consolation bracket, where she will face Andrea Madrigal of La Verne, also at 8:00 AM on Friday.

The second singles semifinal match on Saturday will pit Vega against second-seeded Sonja Meighan of Washington and Lee, with the winner facing the victor of the Satterfield-Tang match for the D-III singles championship on Saturday at 11:30 AM.

In doubles action, Satterfield and Siegler, the fourth-seeded duo, came from behind to defeat the University of Texas – Dallas' Casey Johnson and Auvi Tran in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, 10-2 in the quarterfinals.  Emory's pairing will take on the top-seeded duo of Sonja Meighan and Patricia Kirkland of Washington and Lee University in the semifinals on Friday at 12:30 PM.

The other two seeded duos in the doubles draw also advanced, as second-seeded Kara Shoemaker and Rebecca Curran of Williams College and third-seeded Sammy Chao and Lea Lynn Yen of Pomona-Pitzer Colleges will face off in the other semifinal match on Friday.  The winning teams from the semifinals will compete for the Division III title on Friday at 4:30 PM.
