Tony Li & Brian Hanson Earn PING All-America Acclaim

PING has released its final NCAA Division III All-America teams for men's golf Tuesday morning with Tony Li and Brian Hanson joining teammates Michael Burry and Jackson Klutznick with national honors.

Li was chosen to the All-America Third Team while Hanson was named as an Honorable Mention as the remaining All-America recipients were announced on Tuesday. Last month in conjunction with the final day of the NCAA Championships, Burry and Klutznick were two of eight golfers selected to the First Team.

Li collects his first All-America honor after being tabbed as an Honorable Mention during his freshman season. As a sophomore, Li earned GCAA All-Region and All-UAA First Team honors while competing as the Eagles' No. 3. He averaged 73.7 per round with a low of 68 coming during the Eagles' record-setting performance at the Jekyll Island Collegiate. He finished with the second-best individual four-round score for the Eagles at the NCAA Championships, leading the team to an 11th place finish.

Hanson shined in his rookie season for the Eagles, securing All-UAA Second Team and GCAA All-Region acclaim. He paced the team at the NCAA Championships with a team-best 290 across the four days and set a team record for a single low round at the NCAA Championships with his score of 67 in the first round. Over the season, Hanson averaged 74.4 per round
