    Senior Andrew Wilson was named the CSCAA Swimmer of the Year after helping the Emory Men's Swimming & Diving program to its first-ever National Championship. Wilson won three individual titles and assisted on a pair of relay championships, setting new Division III records in all five events. Wilson took home gold in the 200 IM (1.44.18), 100 Breaststroke (50.94) and 200 Breaststroke (1:50.80) and swam the breaststroke leg in the 200 Medley (1:26.14) and 400 Medley (3:10.51) relays. Wilson's mark in the 100 Breast was one of the fastest ever recorded in the world as he became just the fifth person ever to record a time under the 51 seconds mark in a 100 SCY Breaststroke event. In the 200 Breast, Wilson's time is tied for the sixth-fastest in the world all-time.

    Junior John Copses notched a NCAA B Cut time in the 200 Breaststroke over the weekend for Emory at the Royal Open in Charlotte, NC. Copses placed second in the event in a time of 2:03.94. He added a seventh place showing in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 57.77 (was 6th in prelims at 57.46).

    Senior Andrew Wilson was named the UAA Swimmer of the Year for the second time in his career. Wilson took home individual event titles in the 200 IM and 100 and 200 Breaststroke, setting UAA records in all three events. Wilson added event championships in both the 200 and 400 Medley Relays, both in UAA record time, and was an All-UAA finisher in the 400 Freestyle Relay.

    Senior Andrew Wilson recorded Emory's lone individual event victory, claiming the 100 Breast with a NCAA B Cut time of 54.41 as the Eagles fell to the University of Georgia 175-107 on Saturday. Wilson added another NCAA B Cut in the 200 Breast, finishing second, just .41 behind first, at 2:00.64.

    Freshman Sage Ono swept both Backstroke events and helped Emory to a first place finish in the 200 Medley Relay as the Eagles defeated Division II Delta State 177-121 on Saturday. Ono notched a NCAA B Cut time in the 100 Back, touching at 50.00, and later added a 1:51.50 in the 200 Back. In the 200 MR, Ono along with Andrew Wilson, Cooper Tollen and Oliver Smith notched a NCAA B Cut time 1:30.67 en route to the event victory.

    Senior Mitchell Cooper won a team-best two individual events and assisted on Emory's 400 Freestyle Relay victory as the Eagles bested Birmingham-Southern, 155-107, to improve to 4-0 in dual meets on the season. Cooper touched first in both the 100 Back (51.95) and 200 Fly (1:58.11) events. He swam the third leg of the relay as the foursome of Cooper, Aaron Schwartz, Carter Hardy and Matt Rogers won with a time of 3:11.13.

    Junior Oliver Smith had one individual event victory and assisted on two relay first place finishes as Emory knocked off Division II Florida Southern, 135-127, on Saturday afternoon. In the final event of the meet, Smith helped the 200 Free Relay to a first place finish with a time of 1:24.15 to help the Eagles clinch their first ever win over FSC in the all-time series. Smith added an individual NCAA B Cut in the 50 Free, winning the event at 20.69. He also swam the final leg in Emory's first place showing in the 200 Medley Relay as the relay time touched with a NCAA qualifying mark of 1:31.65.

    Senior Andrew Wilson had a meet for the ages this past weekend at the Miami Invitational in Oxford, OH. Wilson set three individual Division III records and set two more DIII records in a pair of relays to help Emory to a second place finish at the meet. Individually, Wilson posted times of 1:45.57 in the 200 IM, 51.14 in the 100 Breast and 1:51.15 in the 200 Breast, winning each event. He swam the breaststroke leg in both the 200 and Medley Relays, helping both relays record times of 1:26.74 and 3:13.00.

    Senior Mitchell Cooper touched first in two individual events in addition to a second place finish in another while assisting on a first place relay team as the Eagles defeated NAIA SCAD 142-109 on Saturday afternoon. Cooper had first place finishes in the 400 IM (4:05.76) and 100 Fly (51.42) while finishing second in the 100 Back at 52.18. Cooper swam the first leg of Emory's first place 200 Medley Relay that touched with a time of 1:34.09. His 400 IM time was a NCAA B Cut and places first among Division III swimmers in that event.

    Freshman Trevor Burke claimed a pair of first place finishes for the Eagles in the diving events at the Sewanee Invitational on Friday afternoon. In the 1-meter event, Burke posted a score of 267.55 and in the 3-meter event, Burke scored 281.05 points.

    Senior Andrew Wilson impressed in his first meet back for the Eagles, notching four event victories (3 individual, 1 relay) as Emory knocked off the reigning Division II National Champions Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday. Wilson registered NCAA B Cut times in the 100 Breast (55.87) and 200 Breast (2:03.00) and touched with a time of 1:54.41 in the 200 IM. He added a first place showing in the 400 Medley relay, swimming the second leg of the event as the team finished with a NCAA B Cut time of 3:20.13.
