2015 Emory Women's Soccer Players of the Week

    Jordan set the tone in Emory's 3-1 win over Rochester on Saturday, scoring just 8:12 into the contest. She curved her corner kick just right as it sailed past everyone in the box and into the back post to give the Eagles an early 1-0 lead. She also helped the defensive unit in limiting the Yellowjackets to just one goal on six SOGs.

    Kristin, making her third start of the season, picked up her third win of the year in Emory's 3-1 senior day victory over Rochester in the season finale. Kristin made two saves in a scoreless first half before being replaced by fellow senior Liz Arnold at the start of the second.

    Senior Liz Arnold had an outstanding week in goal for the Eagles as Emory went 0-0-3 during the week. Arnold began the week with a fantastic performance against Division I Kennesaw St. She tied a career-high with eight saves in the game including a few great diving saves to help Emory earn the 1-1 tie. In the following game against top-10 Brandeis, she made three saves and recorded her 5th shutout of the season. She finished out the weekend with a clean first half against NYU where she did not have to make a save.

    Kaitlyn registered a career-high five point effort in Emory's 9-0 win over Brooklyn College on Friday night. She was one of two Eagles to score two goals in the game and added an assist. For the weekend, she had team-highs in shots (11) and SOGs (7).

    Hannah was one of two players to start all three games on defense for the Eagles during the past week. She helped Emory to a 3-0 record, a season-best five game win streak and assisted the defensive unit in allowing five shots total in the three games with just four being on goal. Hannah added two shots on goal in the team's 1-0 win over Birmingham Southern on Friday night.

    Ramirez scored a team-best three goals during the team's 3-0 week. She scored twice late in the second half on Sunday against Berry College with her first goal breaking a 1-1 tie in the 77th minute and later added an insurance goal five minutes later to give the Eagles the 3-1 final margin. Cristina also had a team-high nine shots and seven shots on goal.

    Collected her 15th career shutout in a 1-0 win over Washington & Lee and made an outstanding save on one of the few chances the Generals had. Arnold made one save in the win over Bridgewater on Sunday.

    Morell outshot the entire Bridgewater team on Sunday by a 6-3 margin and scored when it mattered most as her goal in the 87th minute on Sunday gave Emory a 2-1 win over BC.

    Allowed just two goals during Emory's three games this past week. She made nine saves including a few terrific ones over the weekend against two top 25 teams. She posted her 14th career shutout in the opening win at Sewanee.

    Led the Eagles on the offensive end during the first week of action. Scored the lone goal of the week, a game-winner at Sewanee, and had team-highs in shots and shots on goal.
