    Junior Michelle Satterfield went 3-0 at the No.2 singles position and 3-0 with teammate Paula Castro at No.3 doubles, helping the Emory Eagles to their seventh national championship in program history. Satterfield earned the match point in both the semifinals match vs. Middlebury (6-1, 6-1) and the title match against Williams (6-2, 6-3). In the NCAA Individual championships, Satterfield was upended in the Round of 32, 7-6 (6), 6-3.

    Junior Katarina Su went 2-0 in singles matches and 2-0 in doubles matches this past weekend as Emory advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals. Su won the clinching point, a 6-3, 6-0 decision at fourth singles in the second round against Methodist and won 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles in the Eagles victory over Washington & Lee in the third round. In doubles action, Su and partner Bridget Harding won both second doubles matches by a score of 8-1 and 8-0.

    Senior Madison Gordon went 3-0 in singles play this weekend for the Eagles against three nationally ranked opponents. Gordon won the no.6 singles match against #7 Middlebury 6-2, 6-0 and won the no.5 singles match against #26 Skidmore, 6-0, 6-0, and #6 Bowdoin 6-3, 6-1. The senior has now won an impressive 15 consecutive singles matches to improve to 21-2 overall on the season including a perfect 15-0 in dual matches.

    Senior Madison Gordon went 2-0 at the no.6 singles this past week against Division I opponents. She defeated Chanel Bell of Charleston Southern in three sets, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3, before taking down Brooke Campbell of Coastal Carolina in straight sets 6-3, 6-0. She has now won a team-leading 11 straight singles matches and is 17-2 on the season.

    Freshman Taylor Cosme's 6-1, 7-6 (2) win for the no.3 singles point clinched the match for the Eagles over #1 Williams College on Wednesday. Cosme is now a team-best 22-3 in singles matches this season and has won a team-best 10 straight matches.

    Sophomore Anna Fuhr helped Emory to three wins over top-25 teams this past week as the Eagles improved to 16-2 on the season. Fuhr was a perfect 3-0 on the no.1 doubles court with partner freshman Daniela Lopez as the team defeated DePauw 8-5, Trinity (TX) 8-6 and CMS 8-0, Fuhr also was victorious for the no.4 singles point against DePauw, winning 6-1, 6-0.

    Junior Paula Castro went 2-0 in singles play, winning both no.5 singles vs Oglethorpe and Centre 6-0, 6-0. She also went a perfect 4-0 mark at the no.2 doubles position with partners Michelle Satterfield and Bridget Harding against Centre, Oglethorpe, Agnes Scott and Millsaps. Castro/Satterfield were 3-0 with wins against Oglethorpe (8-1), Centre (8-0) and ASC (8-0). Castro/Harding won vs. Millsaps by an 8-2 score.

    Junior Katarina Su went 2-0 in singles play against Division I Montana State and Northern Arizona on Saturday. Against MSU, Su won at the no.3 position 6-2, 6-2 and versus NAU, Su picked up the no.6 singles point 6-1, 6-3. She also competed at no.3 doubles against Northern Arizona with freshman Daniela Lopez and was tied 4-4 before the match went unfinished.

    Playing against eighth-ranked Division II Columbus State and Division I Appalachian State, sophomore Bridget Harding went 2-0 at the no.1 singles position, winning 6-3, 6-3 vs CSU and 6-1, 6-2 against ASU. Harding, along with doubles partner Anna Fuhr, tallied wins in both matches at the no.1 doubles position winning 8-1 against CSU's 11th-ranked doubles team and 6-3 against Appalachian State.

    Senior Beatrice Rosen went 2-0 in singles competition for the Eagles, winning no.4 singles against NAIA's #2 Georgia Gwinnett (6-4, 6-2) and no.1 singles against Berry College (6-1, 6-0). Rosen added a win with doubles partner Melissa Goodman for the no.2 doubles point vs. Berry (8-2).

    Freshman Daniela Lopez earned Emory's lone point against Division I East Tennessee State on Sunday, winning the no. 6 singles point 8-7 (7-5). Lopez also played in the no. 3 doubles match vs ETSU and was tied 4-4 before the match went unfinished. On Saturday, Lopez and doubles partner Anna Fuhr won the no. 3 doubles match against WashU to helped the Eagles secure an 6-3 victory.

    Bridget and doubles partner Katarina Su reached the Finals of the Division III competition at ITA National Small College Championships held in Sumter, SC. Harding and Su knocked off the #2 and #3 seeded doubles team en route to the championship match.

    Taylor went 6-0 in singles action over the weekend to capture the USTA/ITA South Regional Singles Championship. On her way to the title, she defeated four of the top-8 seeds (#1,4, 5,6) in four straight matches. She only dropped 12 games through the first 5 rounds before the finals. In doubles, she reached the quarterfinals with partner Stephanie Loutsenko before falling to the top seed.

    Castro led the Eagles at the Elon Invitational over the weekend. She was a perfect 4-0 in singles matches playing against Division I opponents and reached the main draw final in her flight. She was also 4-0 in doubles, playing with Daniella Moreno-Kaste.
