It was Meyer's third game-winning goal in the past nine games, all of which have come in the 81st minute or later. He now leads the team in goals (5) and GWGs (3) and ranks T-2nd in the UAA in the GWGs category.
Making his first start of the season, Leo helped the Emory defense limit the Birmingham Southern (11-2-2) offense to just one shot in the game. It was the lowest shot total allowed by an Eagles defensive unit since Sept. 23, 2009. Ragazzo also notched his first point since his sophomore season, assisting on the game-winning goal in the 95th minute to help Emory secure the 1-0 OT win over the Panthers.
Meyer scored the game-winning goal in the 81st minute to power Emory to a 1-0 win over #17 Washington to extend the team's winning streak to six games and a 2-0 mark in UAA play. Meyer stayed on-side to receive the through ball from Scott Haley and beat three defenders before putting it past the Bears' GK for the game-winner. It was Meyer's fourth goal on the season and his second game-winner during the winning streak.
Sherr led the Emory defensive unit that limited 17th-ranked Washington to six shots in the game including just one on goal as the Eagles went on to win 1-0 to remain perfect in UAA play. Sherr had Emory's first real scoring opportunity in the 80th minute, taking the ball almost the length of the field and getting off a shot. A minute later, Sherr helped set up the winning goal, dishing a prefect touch pass to Scott Haley who in turned passed it to Meyer who scored the game-winner.
Abe posted his fourth straight shutout and his fifth of the season on Saturday in Emory's 1-0 win at Chicago, making three saves in the process. With the shutout, he became the all-time leader in program history with 22 career clean sheets.
Sebastian's golden goal in double overtime gave Emory the 1-0 win over Chicago in the UAA opener for both teams. He now has a team-high five goals on the season and is second all-time in school history with three golden goals.
Moustafa played a big part on offense in Emory's 3-0 week as the rookie assisted on the game winning goal at Huntingdon and then scored the game winner for the Eagles the next day at Millsaps. He finished the week with a team-high 3 points.

He battled the Vikings GK for possession of the ball after long Matt Sherr free kick and knocked in the game winner after gaining possession with just 2:36 remaining in regulation to help Emory snap its three game losing streak.

Hardington led the Emory offense during the first week of action, leading the team with three goals, nine shots and six SOGs. He was named to the Sonny Carter Invitational All-Tournament Team for his performance over the weekend.
