Freshman Lukas Mees helped Emory to a first-place finish out of nine teams at the Gulf Coast Stampede held in Pensacoloa, Fla., and hosted by the University of West Florida.
Junior Eddie Mulder helped the Emory men's cross country team to a second-place finish out of four teams at the Georgia State Invitational.
Competing in a 6K event, Mulder clocked a squad-best time of 20:19 that placed him fourth out of 37 runners. It represented the second straight meet that Mulder had ranked as the team's No. 1 performer.
