The Emory University Women's Tennis team, ranked fourth in Division III, wrapped up its 2013 regular season with a 9-0 win over 16th-ranked Washington and Lee University on Saturday afternoon on the indoor courts at the Woodruff Physical Education Center.

Saturday also marked 'Senior Day' for the Eagles, as the squad honored its lone graduating player, captain and two-time all-American Jordan Wylie.  Wylie claimed victories in both her singles and doubles matches during the day, claiming an 8-2 win with freshman Madison Gordon at first doubles, and a 6-1, 6-1 win at second singles.

Besides Wylie's first-doubles victory, Emory also earned 8-1 victories from freshman Emma Taylor and junior Brenna Kelly at second doubles, and from sophomore Catharine Harris and freshman Stephanie Loutsenko at third doubles.

Claiming singles victories on the day were freshman Beatrice Rosen at first singles (7-5, 6-1), freshman Marissa Levine at third singles (6-4, 6-0), Gordon at fourth singles (6-1, 6-1), Kelly at fifth singles (6-0, 6-1) and freshman Annette Sullivan at sixth singles (6-1, 6-0).

With the win, Emory will head into the NCAA Tournament with a record of 14-4.  Washington and Lee concluded its regular season with a mark of 18-6.

Emory will now await the announcement of the 2013 NCAA Division III Championship field to see the times, location and opponents for its first three rounds of postseason competition.  The announcement is scheduled to be made on NCAA.com at 7:00 PM ET on Monday, May 6th, and will be posted on EmoryAthletics.com as soon as it is available.
