    Twenty-eight members of the Emory University Swimming and Diving Team were recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their athletic and academic efforts during the 2013-14 season, including 23 who were named to the organization’s Scholar All-America team.

    Four members of the Emory University Swimming and Diving Team – seniors Brooke Woodward and Matt O’Brien, and sophomores Elizabeth Aronoff and Andrew Wilson – were named to the Capital One Academic All-District At-Large Team, based on their performances both in the classroom and the pool during the 2013-14 season.

    Emory University seniors Kylie McKenzie, Sadie Nennig, Matt O’Brien and Jake Stephens of the Swimming and Diving team and Morgan Monroe of the Indoor Track and Field team were each named recipients of the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for their outstanding athletic, academic and volunteer achievements during their collegiate careers.

    Emory University senior Ross Spock and sophomore Elizabeth Aronoff were selected as the final University Athletic Association (UAA) Swimmers of the Week for the season after each claimed an individual National Title at the 2014 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana, while senior Sarah Greene was named the UAA Diver of the Week after earning her first career all-America honor at the meet.

    Emory University won its second relay of the 2014 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, as senior Ross Spock, sophomore Andrew Wilson, junior Hayden Baker and senior Ryan Bass swam to a victory in the 400-yard medley relay, and the Emory women added to their lead atop the team standings, during the second day of Championship competition at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

    The Emory University Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Teams each officially won their 16th-consecutive University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships, as announced by the conference after results from the main meet in Atlanta, GA and the satellite meet in Cleveland, OH were combined.

    Emory University senior Sarah Greene was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women’s Diver of the Year, after winning the one-meter dive and finishing second in the three-meter dive at the 2014 UAA Championships last weekend. Greene won the three-meter dive with a score of 464.00, breaking her own school record in the event. The following day, she finished as the runner-up in the one-meter dive with a score of 435.45, falling just 1.7 points shy of the conference title. This marked the first time in her career that Greene has been named the UAA Women’s Diver of the Year, and she became the first Eagle to garner the honor since Lisa Parton in 2006. Greene’s performance helped the Eagles to their 16th-consecutive win at the UAA Championships.
