    Emory University senior Renee Rosenkranz, sophomore Nancy Larson, senior Ann Wolber and senior Anna Dobben won National Titles in both the 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard freestyle relay at the 2013 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. The quartet set a new NCAA Division III record in the 400-yard freestyle relay, winning the event with a time of 3:21.28, besting the previous record mark by over seven-tenths of a second. It marked the fourth-consecutive year that Emory has won the event at the NCAA Championships. Rosenkranz, Larson, Wolber and Dobben also won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:32.93, giving the Eagles’ their second-straight title in the event, and their fourth in the last five years. As a program, the two relay titles give the women’s program 13 relay National Championships all time, and 38 NCAA Championships overall. Dobben, Rosenkranz and Larson were also a part of Emory’s third-place 800-yard freestyle relay (7:20.85), while Dobben and Rosenkranz swam on the Eagles’ second-place 200-yard medley relay (1:42.99) and Larson on the Eagles’ third-place 400-yard medley relay (3:44.49). Dobben added all-America finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (fourth-place, 50.41 in the preliminaries) and 200-yard freestyle (second-place, 1:48.64), and an honorable mention in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing ninth in a school-record time of 54.84 seconds. Rosenkranz claimed individual all-America honors in the 50-yard freestyle (sixth-place, 23.34 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (fifth-place, 50.58 seconds) and an honorable mention in the 100-yard breaststroke (ninth-place, 1:03.59), and Larson picked up all-America honors in the 50-yard freestyle (seventh-place, 23.49 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (tied for sixth-place, 50.89 seconds). The four Emory swimmers helped lead the Eagles to their fourth-consecutive NCAA Division III Championship.

    Emory University junior diver Sarah Greene qualified for the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships this weekend, based on her performance at the Regional Diving Championships in San Antonio, Texas. Greene qualified based on her performance in the one-meter dive, finishing fourth in the event with a mark of 417.60. Earlier in the meet, she also finished fourth in the three-meter dive with a score of 398.85. Greene will now compete, along with Emory’s 17 qualified women’s swimmers, at the NCAA Championships in Shenandoah, Texas from March 20th – 23rd.

    Emory University senior Jacqueline Schneider recorded NCAA 'B' cut times and a pair of first-place finishes in the backstroke events at the Midwest Invitational last weekend. Schneider won the 100-yard backstroke with a 'B' cut time of 57.15 seconds. She followed that with a win in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:02.71. Schneider helped the Emory squad finish second at the meet.

    Emory University senior Anna Dobben was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Swimmer of the Year after winning conference championships in two individual events and three relays. Dobben won both the 50-yard freestyle (23.63 seconds) and the 100-yard backstroke (56.16 seconds), setting a pool record in the latter. She was part of an ‘A’ cut performance and pool record in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:25.87), swimming the anchor leg of the relay. Dobben led two other relays to UAA Championships in conference and pool-record times, swimming the anchor leg of the Eagles’ 200-yard freestyle relay (1:33.77) and the first leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:31.29). The senior also earned an all-UAA honor with a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (51.39 seconds in the preliminaries). Dobben accounted for 140 of the Eagles’ 1,955 points during the meet, helping Emory win its 15th-straight UAA title.

    Emory University junior Sarah Greene won the three-meter dive at the 2013 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships in Chicago, Illinois. Greene claimed her first career conference championship with a score of 449.90, besting the second-place diver by eight-tenths of a point. She recorded a score of 465.70 in the preliminaries of the event, a new career-best mark for the junior. Greene also finished fourth in the one-meter dive with a score of 431.30 in the preliminaries, her second NCAA qualifying score of the meet. Greene accounted for 58 of the Eagles’ 1,955 points, helping the squad win the UAA Championship for the 15th-consecutive season.

    Emory University junior Annabel Enquist recorded an NCAA qualifying score in the one-meter dive during the top-ranked Eagles’ dual meet against Division I Georgia Tech. Enquist finished fourth in the one-meter dive with a score of 259.65, surpassing the NCAA qualifying standard of 255 in the event. She was also Emory’s top finisher in the three-meter dive with a score of 258.45. Enquist accounted for six points for the Eagles during their 167-130 loss to the Yellow Jackets. Emory finished the season with a 4-3 record in dual meets, with all seven contests coming against NCAA Division I, II or NAIA opponents.

    Emory University junior Kylie McKenzie recorded two first-place finishes and an NCAA ‘B’ cut time during the top-ranked Eagles’ dual meet against Division I Georgia Tech. McKenzie won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:23.98, good for an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. In the 100-yard breaststroke, she tied for first with a time of 1:07.12. She also swam the second leg of the Eagles’ third-place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:55.98) and claimed sixth in the 200-yard individual medley (2:12.17). McKenzie scored 17.5 points during the Eagles’ 167-130 loss to the Yellow Jackets. Emory finished the season with a 4-3 record in dual meets, with all seven contests coming against NCAA Division I, II or NAIA opponents.

    Emory University junior Sarah Greene won both diving events with NCAA qualifying scores during the Eagles’ dual meet victory against the Savannah College of Art and Design on Saturday. Greene finished first in the one-meter dive with a qualifying score of 269.40. In the three-meter dive, she registered a score of 266.18, also good to win the event and surpass the NCAA qualification mark. Greene scored 18 points for the Eagles, helping the squad improve to 4-2 in dual meets this season with a 153-117 win over the Bees.

    Emory University senior Leslie Hackler recorded four first-place finishes and three NCAA ‘B’ cut times during the Eagles’ ‘Senior Day’ dual meet victory over the Savannah College of Art and Design on Saturday. Hackler swept the fly events, winning the 100-yard butterfly with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 57.44 seconds, and the 200-yard butterfly with a provisional qualifying time of 2:05.69. She opened the meet by helping the Eagles’ 200-yard medley relay team to a first-place finish as well, swimming the third leg of the relay and leading the squad to a time of 1:47.01, also good for a ‘B’ cut time. Hackler finished off the contest by swimming the third leg of the Eagles’ winning 200-yard freestyle relay team, which won the event with a time of 1:37.40. She scored 23.50 points for Emory during the meet, helping the Eagles to a 153-117 win over the Bees, improving to 4-2 in dual meets this season.

    Emory University’s Elizabeth Aronoff recorded a provisional qualifying time during the Eagles’ dual meet victory at the University of Tampa, an NCAA Division II squad, on Thursday. Aronoff won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:24.33, six hundredths of a second under the NCAA ‘B’ cut time. The freshman also finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:07.96, and helped the Eagles’ 200-yard medley relay team to a second place finish with a time of 1:50.75, swimming a split of 31.50 seconds in the breaststroke leg. Aronoff scored 14 points during the meet, helping the team to a 169-88 victory over the Spartans.

    Emory University senior Sadie Nennig recorded a pair of individual ‘A’ cut times at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational last weekend. Nennig swam an ‘A’ cut time of 2:00.75 during the preliminaries of the 200-yard backstroke, eventually finishing sixth in the finals of the event. She added another automatic qualifying time in the 200-yard individual medley, finishing seventh in the finals after recording a mark of 2:04.60 in the preliminaries. Her highest finish of the day was in the 100-yard backstroke, where she claimed second-place with a time of 55.37 seconds, good for a ‘B’ cut. She also had provisional marks as the leadoff leg of Emory’s 200-yard medley relay (fourth place, 1:44.45) and the 400-yard medley relay (fifth place, 3:48.69). Nennig, a 10-time all-American an reigning University Athletic Association (UAA) Most Outstanding Performer, helped the Eagles to a second-place finish at the meet.

    Emory University junior Sarah Greene won both diving events at the Phoenix Fall Classic at the University of Chicago last weekend. On Saturday, Greene won the three-meter dive (11 dives) with a score of 438.85, well above the NCAA qualifying threshold of 410. She followed that performance with a first-place finish in the one-meter dive (11 dives) with a score of 435.45, another NCAA qualifying mark. Greene accounted for 40 points at the meet, helping Emory to a 10th-place finish, despite sending just two divers to the meet.

    Nancy Larson, a sophomore on the top-ranked Emory University women’s swimming and diving team, was the Eagles’ top finisher in three events during their dual meet against the University of Georgia, the third-ranked NCAA Division I squad. Larson finished second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.48 seconds, the best time by an Emory swimmer this season. She later swam the third leg of the Eagles’ 200-yard freestyle relay team, which finished third with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 1:36.46, another season-best for the squad. Larson also swam the anchor leg of Emory’s 400-yard medley relay team, which finished with a time of 3:56.17, good for fourth place. She accounted for 7.25 points during the 111-86 loss to UGA, dropping the squad to 2-2 in dual meets this season.

    Emory University diver Sarah Greene recorded a pair of NCAA qualifying scores and a first-place finish at the 1st-Annual Sewanee Invitational Diving Meet last Saturday. Greene won the one-meter dive (11 dives) with a score of 452.55, well above the NCAA qualifying score of 395, and just 5.1 points shy of her own program record in the event. The junior later took home second-place in the three-meter dive (11 dives), with a score of 415.85, surpassing the NCAA qualifying mark of 410. Greene is a three-time all-University Athletic Association (UAA) honoree during her career.

    Emory University senior Anna Dobben was a part of two NCAA ‘B’ cut relays during the top-ranked Eagles’ tri-meet against Division I Florida State University and Division II Florida Southern College. Dobben opened the meet by swimming the freestyle leg of the 400-yard medley relay, helping the squad finish third in a provisional qualifying time of 3:54.65. She concluded the meet by swimming the third leg of the Eagles’ third-place 400-yard freestyle relay team, which finished in a ‘B’ cut time of 3:31.85. Dobben also finished eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.55 seconds and fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.30 seconds. With Dobben’s help, the Eagles split the tri-meet, defeating Florida Southern 189-99 and falling to Florida State 185-102.

    Emory University junior Sarah Greene recorded an NCAA Division III qualifying score during the Eagles’ win over UNC Wilmington on Saturday. Greene’s score of 274.35 in the one-meter dive (six dives) was well ahead of the qualifying score of 255, and good for a first-place finish in the event. She also finished second in the three-meter dive (six dives) with a score of 227.70. Greene accounted for 13 points on the day, helping lead Emory to a 195-100 win over its Division I opponent and to a 1-0 record in dual meets this season.

    Emory University junior Sadie Nennig registered two NCAA Division III ‘B’ cut performances and two first-place finishes, leading the Eagles to a dual-meet victory over NCAA Division I UNC Wilmington. Nennig won the 100-yard backstroke with a ‘B’ cut time of 58.06 seconds. She also recorded a provisional qualifying time in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing third with a mark of 2:06.78. Nennig’s second first-place finish of the meet came as a part of the 200-yard medley relay team, as the junior swam the leadoff backstroke leg and helped the team win the event with a time of 1:48.12. She rounded out the meet with a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.13. Nennig accounted for 15.75 points, helping Emory defeat UNC Wilmington 195-100 in its first dual meet of the 2012-13 season.
