Freshman designated player Moira Sullivan swung a big bat in helping the No. 1-ranked Eagles to four victories. Sullivan hit a team-leading .636 with seven hits in 11 trips to the plate. She also tied for the club’s lead with eight RBIs while finishing with a .818 slugging percentage.
Sophomore center fielder Lauren Gorodetsky turned in a big week, hitting .545 with a team-high six hits in 11 plate appearances in helping the No. 2-ranked Eagles to a 4-0 record.
Sophomore Megan Light swung a big bat in helping the Eagles’ softball team to four wins at the Emory Classic. Light hit a blazing .692 (9-for-13) with seven RBIs (two game winning RBIs) and five runs scored as Emory notched two wins apiece over Lynchburg College and Millsaps.
