    Emory University freshman Paul Merolla was named the University Athletic Association’s (UAA) Co-Rookie of the Year, while outfielders Brandon Hannon and Wes Peacock were selected to the All-UAA First Team, and pitchers Graham Bloomsmith and Connor Dillman, outfielder Daniel Iturrey and shortstop Jared Kahn were named to the All-Association Second Team.

    Emory University Baseball will wrap-up its 2013 regular season this weekend, when it faces in-state rival Piedmont College during a three-game series. The Eagles will play the Lions in Demorest, Georgia on Thursday, April 25th at 7:00 PM, before returning home to host games at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 26th and 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 27th. Friday’s game will also mark ‘Senior Day,’ as Emory will honor graduating senior Mark Lindemann prior to the start of the contest.
