(Soccer – Defense) Emory University goalkeeper Andrew Goldblum recorded a shutout during the first start of his career on Sunday, leading the Eagles to a 1-0 win at the University of Rochester. Making just his third career appearance, Goldblum played all 90 minutes of the game, making four saves en route to the shutout and his first-career victory.

Scott converted the eventual game winner on header off a corner kick in the 11th minute of play, giving the Eagles a one-goal lead that would hold for the rest of the contest.

The nine saves were a season-high by any University Athletic Association (UAA) goalkeeper this season.
