    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Alix Dyer finished 16th in the 100-meter dash, and 11th as part of the 4x100-meter relay team at the 2011 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. In the 100-meter dash, Dyer recorded a time of 12.45 seconds in the preliminaries.

    (Track & Field) Emory University’s Lauren Attiah recorded two NCAA provisional qualifying performances during the Gregory Invitational last weekend. Attiah’s triple jump of 11.70 meters was a season-best mark and the fourth-best distance in the event in school history, as the junior finished third overall at the meet.

Attiah recorded a season-best distance in the triple jump, leaping a distance of 11.58 meters, good for a provisional qualifying mark and a 10th-place finish.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Alix Dyer won four events at the 2011 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships, leading the team to its second-straight conference title. Dyer claimed her first individual conference championship of the meet in the 100-meter dash, where she finished first with a time of 12.40 seconds.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Jasmine McCullough recorded two NCAA provisional qualifying times during the Western Carolina University Invitational on Friday. McCullough’s time of 14.70 in the 100-meter hurdles was good for a third-place finish, and .29 seconds better than the NCAA provisional qualifying time.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Charlotte Diggs recorded a career-best time of 1:04.74 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Furman Invitational last weekend. Diggs’ time was just over half a second shy of the NCAA provisional qualifying mark, and good for a first-place finish in the event at the meet.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Lauren Attiah reached a provisional qualifying mark in the triple jump and was the Eagles’ top finisher in three other events at the Gem of the Hills Invitational last weekend. Attiah’s leap of 11.42 meters was good for a fourth-place finish and six hundredths of a meter better than the NCAA provisional standard.

    (Track & Field) Emory University freshman Emily Caesar won the 800-meter run at the Emory Classic last weekend. Caesar finished first in the event out of the 33 collegiate competitors, running a time of 2:19.36. She also finished fifth as part of Emory’s ‘B’ 400-meter relay team, with a time of 4:15.05.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Tess Gallegos won the 5,000-meter run with a personal-record time, while competing at the Emory Invitational, the opening meet of the outdoor track and field season. Gallegos recorded a time of 18:09.97 in the event over 25 seconds better than her previous personal-best time in the 5,000-meter run.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Jasmine McCullough set a school record with a NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 60-meter hurdles, while competing at the North Central College Last Chance Meet. McCullough finished third overall in the event with a time of 9.06 seconds in the finals.

Attiah won the long jump with a provisional qualifying mark of 5.49 meters, marking the second-straight season she has won the indoor event.

Dyer won the 400-meter dash for the third-straight year, running a time of 59.69 seconds in the finals.

    (Track) Emory University junior Jasmine McCullough ran a pair of season-best times at the Tiger Tune-Up at Clemson University this weekend. McCullough finished 16th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.14 seconds, a career-best indoor time.

    (Track & Field) Emory University’s Alycia Adams set a school record in the 300-meter dash at the Tiger Paw Invitational, hosted by Clemson University. Adams was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the event, and 16th overall, with a program-record time of 42.10 seconds, besting former Eagle Meghan Callier’s mark of 42.88 seconds.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Lauren Attiah finished fourth in the indoor pentathlon at the Darren Young Classic, hosted by Grinnell College. Attiah totaled 2,964 points during the pentathlon, just 36 shy of the NCAA provisional qualification standard.

    (Track & Field) Emory University sophomore Melanie Frank won the unseeded mile run and finished 14th in the unseeded 800-meter run at the Niswonger Invitational last weekend. Frank’s time of 5:14.29 in the mile was good for the top-finish in the event among the 48 competitors.

Dyer finished eighth out of 22 competitors (mostly from NCAA Division I schools) in the 400-meter dash, running a time of 1:00.22.

    (Track & Field) Emory University junior Laura Lambie-Hanson was the Eagles’ top finisher in the 55-meter hurdles, and later recorded a personal-best time in the 400-meter dash, while competing at the Appalachian Indoor Open. Lambie-Hanson was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the 55-meter hurdles, coming in 11th in the preliminaries of the event in time of 9.15 seconds.

    (Track & Field) Emory University senior Alycia Adams set a school record in the 300-meter dash, while facing mostly NCAA Division I competition during the Orange and Purple Winter Classic at Clemson University. Adams ran a time of 42.06 seconds in the event, finishing 20th out of 46 runners and breaking a five-year old program record.
